TRANSFORMING EDUCATION: NG-CDF BOARD UNVEILS MODERN HALL & GIRLS’ DORM AT KALISASI SECONDARY
Hope, pride, and excitement filled the air today at Kalisasi Secondary School in Mwingi Central as the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Board unveiled two transformative projects set to uplift lives and redefine learning in the region.
NG-CDF Board Director Hon. Gabriel Kago, joined by area MP Hon. Gideon Mulyungi, officially commissioned a modern, fully equipped multipurpose hall and launched the construction of a 200-capacity girls’ dormitory—milestones funded under the Board’s visionary Best Practice Demonstration Programme.
The new hall, a versatile space designed for dining, assemblies, and community events, opens up opportunities for unity and expression, turning the school into a vibrant hub of activity and growth. But the real heartbeat of the day was the dormitory launch: a promise of security, dignity, and academic focus for hundreds of girls who no longer have to walk long distances or face the risks of day schooling.
“This isn’t just infrastructure,” said one elated teacher. “It’s a lifeline. A turning point for our girls. A leap toward equity in education.”
With every brick laid and every ribbon cut, the NG-CDF Board is not just building structures—it’s building futures
