The Deputy President H.E.Prof.Kithure Kindiki joined thousands of residents at the Alliance High School grounds to celebrate the 2025/2026 Kikuyu NG-CDF short courses graduates, hosted by Kikuyu MP & Leader of Majority,Hon.Kimani Ichungโwah.
In the 2024/2025 financial year, Kikuyu NG-CDF invested Ksh. 12.2 million to equip 1,880 young people with practical skills in Caregiving, Barista & Mixology, Food & Beverage, Cosmetology, Hairdressing, Plumbing, Welding, and Electrical Installations that will open doors to employment and self-reliance.
The Deputy President highlighted the governmentโs commitment to youth empowerment, stressing the importance of hands-on skills for the modern job market.
This programme continues to enhance employability, foster entrepreneurship, and create sustainable livelihoods in Kikuyu Constituency.
Other dignitaries present were NG-CDF Board Chair Hon.Olago Aluoch, CBS ,Board Director Hon. Gabriel Kago, MPs, and other leaders.
