𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐥𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐮 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

Leaders and education stakeholders today converged at the Lornah Kiplagat Sports Academy in Iten for the inaugural Elgeyo-Marakwet County Elimu Conference, held under the theme “Collaborative Education for Sustainable Student Success.”

The conference brought together key national and county leaders, including the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon.Julius Migos Ogamba; the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Hon. Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen; the Principal Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning, Dr. Chris Kiptoo; and the Principal Secretary for Immigration and Citizen Services, Dr. Belio Kipsang, among other leaders and stakeholders in the education sector.

The NG-CDF Board was represented by the Board Directors Hon. Naomi Shiyonga and Dr. William Sugut, reaffirming the Fund’s commitment as a key stakeholder in supporting education infrastructure and improving access to education across constituencies.

The conference provided an important platform for collaboration among government leaders, education stakeholders, and development partners to strengthen the education sector and promote sustainable student success in Elgeyo-Marakwet County and across the country.
