The NG-CDF Board, through the Best Practice Demonstration Programme (BPDP), remains committed to promoting excellence in project implementation across the country. BPDP guides stakeholders on adopting practices that enhance accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
Today, NG-CDF Board Directors Josephine Kanyi, the Alternate Director representing the Principal Secretary, National Treasury, and Hon. Gabriel Kago, an independent Director of the Board, conducted an inspection of NG-CDF-financed projects at Chepseon Girls Secondary School in Kipkelion East Constituency and Ketitui Secondary School in Ainamoi Constituency.
At Chepseon Girls Secondary School, the construction and equipping of a 96-student capacity dormitory complete with a septic tank is currently ongoing. The project, financed in the 2019/2020 Financial Year under the Best Practice Demonstration Programme (BPDP), seeks to create a conducive learning environment, improve sanitation standards, enhance learners’ well-being through adequate boarding facilities, and support overall school infrastructure development, ultimately boosting student enrollment.
At Ketitui Secondary School, the drilling and equipping of a borehole is underway. This project, also financed in the 2023/2024 Financial Year under the Best Practice Demonstration Programme (BPDP), aims to provide the school with a reliable and sustainable water source, reducing reliance on inconsistent external supplies and improving the institution’s operational efficiency.
