The BPDP programme aims to partner with communities to address social concerns and contribute to socio-economic development nationwide.

The project included drilling a borehole, installing 18 solar panels, fencing, constructing a steel water tower, providing two 10,000-liter water tanks, installing a water pump, and constructing school water collection points.

Since its establishment, Mutukanio Secondary School and its environs have suffered persistent water shortages. Community efforts to dig wells often failed during the dry season, forcing students to walk 3 kilometers to fetch water from a nearby river, impacting their study time and academic performance.
