Through public participation, the Langata NG-CDF Committee identified the urgent need for a dormitory at Karen C Secondary School due to rising student numbers. Today, that need is being met.
With an investment of KES 43 million, spread across three financial years, a modern multi-storey dormitory accommodating 500 girls is taking shape complete with safe sleeping spaces, ample bathrooms, PWD accessible facilities, a laundry area, and self-contained matronโs units.
The dormitory was officially opened by NG-CDF Board Chair. Hon Olago Aluoch,CBS in the presence of Langata MP. Hon. Phelix Odiwuor (Jalangโo) and other dignitaries.
This reflects our commitment to student welfare, safety, and quality education. Implementation is progressing smoothly and as planned.
