NG-CDF Board Highlights Model Projects in Loima Constituency through Best Practice Demonstration
The National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) Board, through its Best Practice Demonstration Programme (BPDP), is committed to showcasing exemplary standards in the planning and execution of development projects across the country.
NG-CDF Board Chief Executive Officer Mr. Yusuf Mbuno, accompanied by Secretariat staff, visited Loima Constituency in Turkana County to assess progress on two flagship projects implemented under the BPDP initiative.
The projects include:
Construction and equipping of an administration block at Lomil Girls Secondary School, currently underway and funded during the 2023/2024 Financial Year.
Construction and equipping of a fully furnished science laboratory with a capacity for 45 students at Loima Girls Secondary School, completed under the 2022/2023 Financial Year.
These strategic funding aim to improve the operational capacity of learning institutions, strengthen educational infrastructure, and promote better service delivery in the region. By enhancing institutional efficiency and fostering educational leadership, the projects reflect the Board’s commitment to quality, equity, and transformative development.
The BPDP serves as a learning and benchmarking platform for constituencies nationwide, encouraging the replication of high-impact, sustainable, and community-centered initiatives.
