NG-CDF Board management held a successful meeting with the newly appointed Director General of the State Department for Economic Planning, Dr. Masini Ichwara,PHD .He was accompanied by NG-CDF Board Director Mr.Festus Wangwe and Economists drawn from the Ministry.
The discussions focused on amplifying NG-CDF’s impact in communities nationwide and reaffirming the commitment to keeping the Fund centered on development rather than politics. Together, we are charting a path towards a more transparent, accountable, and people-focused NG-CDF that delivers real transformation on the ground.
Dr. Masini Ichwara also emphasized the importance of strengthening linkages and fostering closer collaboration between the various SAGAs under the Ministry, noting that enhanced coordination would not only eliminate duplication of efforts but also maximize resources, improve service delivery, and accelerate the achievement of national development goals.
On his part, the NG-CDF CEO Mr.Yusuf Mbuno, welcomed the Director General, highlighted the notable successes the Fund has achieved in transforming communities across the country, and encouraged stronger future collaborations with the Ministry.
